Peddem Bomm SC ease past Holy Cross SC

Goa Khabar : Peddem Bomm SC Anjuna secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Holy Cross SC Arambol in the GFA Third Division League, with Pedro Gonsalves leading the charge with a brace.

Holy Cross SC took an early lead when Creniel Fernandes found the net in the 7th minute, giving his side a brief advantage. However, Peddem Bomm responded strongly, leveling the score in the 22nd minute through a powerful strike from Pedro Gonsalves.

The second half belonged to Peddem Bomm, as they came out determined to take control. Gonsalves completed his brace in the 59th minute, putting his team ahead. The pressure continued to mount on Holy Cross, with Umesh Mainkar extending the lead in the 70th minute. Pratik Dhargalkar sealed the victory with a close-range finish in the 90th minute, securing a commanding 4-1 win for Peddem Bomm.

In another match on Monday, Assonora United FC was awarded three points in the GFA Third Division League after Kelbai SC failed to report at the Quitla ground.
