Goa Khabar: Goa BJP President Damu Naik has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Jennifer Monserrate, BJP MLA from Taleigao and former Cabinet Minister, describing her demise as a significant loss to Goa’s public life.
In his condolence message, Naik said Jennifer Monserrate made history as the first woman MLA from Taleigao and served as a three-term legislator, dedicating herself to the welfare of the people of her constituency and the State with compassion and commitment throughout her political career.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and countless well-wishers during this difficult time. Praying for strength to the bereaved family, Naik said he hoped the Almighty would grant eternal peace to her noble soul.
“Om Shanti,” he said while paying his final respects to the departed leader.
