Rainfall Almost Disappears Across Goa; No Light, Moderate or Heavy Rain Recorded

Goa Khabar: Goa witnessed a sharp decline in rainfall, with the latest rainfall data for the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 AM on July 13, 2026, showing that no location in the State recorded light, moderate, heavy, very heavy, or extremely heavy rainfall.

According to the rainfall classification, all categories from Light Rain (2.5 mm and above) to Extremely Heavy Rainfall (204.5 mm and above) remained completely nil, highlighting a significant weakening of monsoon activity across Goa.

Only very light rainfall (up to 2.4 mm) was recorded at a few locations:

  • Dabolim: 0.8 mm
  • Ela (Old Goa): 0.8 mm
  • Canacona: 0.6 mm
  • Mormugao: 0.4 mm

The latest figures indicate that the widespread rainfall experienced over the past several days has eased considerably, with most parts of Goa remaining dry during the reporting period.
