Goa Khabar : AAP MLA from Velim Engr. Cruz Silva & AAP ST wing Vice President Vinay Velip in a video byte welcomed the Goa ST reservation bill being passed in both the houses of parliament, while welcoming the bill, he highlighted the state of the ST community in the state of Goa.
MLA Engr. Cruz, while welcoming the bill, emphasised and demanded action on the proper utilisation of the budgetary allocation for the ST community. He stated, “Funds allocated under the Tribal welfare meant specifically for the ST community remain misused and unutilised year after year. This also needs to be addressed by the govt.”
AAP ST Wing Vice President Vinay Velip congratulated the people of the ST Community and mentioned that it took 22 years for this bill to be passed, during which both Congress and the BJP were in the government. He questioned both parties on their failure to bring justice to the ST community sooner.
