Goa Khabar:The Women’s Wing Committee of GCCI, in association with Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration organized an FSSAI Licensing Mela on Tuesday, 11th June, 2024 at the GCCI’s Surendrababu Timblo Hall.
Officials from the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, Ms Safia Khan and Mr Avee Dand were instrumental in facilitating on the spot registrations.
A major awareness campaign was conducted to mobilize entrepreneurs in food business to legalize their ventures by procuring FSSAI License. The turnout was impressive with over 100 plus Women Food entrepreneurs turned up and walked away with their license confirmations.
The program was widely received and highly appreciated. This initiative was organized in the presence of Ms Asha Arondekar, Chairperson, GCCI Women’s Wing and Committee Members, Ms Gouri Joshi, Ms Gauri Borkar, Ms Clare De Souza, Ms Sandra Fernandes, Ms Asha Vernekar and Ms Rahila Khan along with the coordinator Ms Melane D Rodrigues.
