Dempo beat MBBS club 14-0 on day two of Dream Sports championships.

Goa Khabar: Young forward Anni’s first half hat-trick helped Dempo SC cruise to a 14-goal victory over MBBS Sports and Cultural Club in the Dream Sports Championship Goa Regional round at the Rosary college grounds in Navelim. He finished with five goals as eight of his other teammates also found the net. 

Dempo SC skipper Nash Fernandes opened the scoring in the 13th minute, but Anni stole the show with goals in minutes 20, 28 and 40. He added to his tally with goals in the 59th and 58th-minute mark. Nigel Viegas scored two after coming off the bench, while Tanmay Kumar, Krutik Gaikwad, Kayden Mansley Faleiro, Ashon Vaz, Mohit Surlikar And Tejas Arun Kamat bagged a goal each.

In the other game on Sunday, FC Goa’s U17 team were held to a 0-0 draw by Belgaum United Football Academy, setting a must-win clash for FC Goa against SESA Football Academy on April 16.
