REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR GOA MARATHI FILM FESTIVAL 2022
Goa Khabar:The registration for the Goa Marathi Film Festival (GMFF) has started online and at select venues in the state. GMFF is one of the biggest and longest running Marathi Film Festival in the country and after a gap of two years, the 13th edition will be held on 5th, 6th and 7th August 2022 at INOX and Maquinez Palace, at the Old GMC complex in Panjim.
The online registration can be done on Goa.app website under activities, while delegates can also register on bookmyshow.com
There are venues for in-person registration as well in the state. In Panjim the registration is open at Vinsan Graphics, 309, Gera Imperium 2, Patto, in Vasco at Vinsan graphics, near Hotel Ananthashram and in Margao at Maya book store, Vitrose Mansion, Isidore Baptista road, Margao. In Ponda, the registration can be done at Mohak Designers, near Nutan Medical store, Ponda.
The opening ceremony will be held at INOX Panjim on 5th August at 5.30 pm with the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant as the chief guest. The veteran actor Ashok Saraf who made a mark for himself in Marathi as well as Hindi cinema, will be presented the prestigious Krutadnyata Puruskar for life time achievement. Renowned actress Raveena Tandon will be the guest of honor.
The festival will showcase over 20 Marathi films including three India premieres of Sahela Re directed by Mrinal Kulkarni, Dhied by Omkar Barve and Pillu Bachelor.
Several prominent actors and directors are expected to be a part of GMFF 2022, including Sonali Kulkarni, Subodh Bhave, Mrinal Kulkarni, Neha Pendse, Sai Tamhankar, Ameya Wagh, Kishore Kadam, Mrunmaye Godbole, Sanjay Jadhav, Suhurud Goldbole, Sachin Kundalkar, Aditya Sarpotdar, Anant Mahadevan, Prasad Oak, Gajendra Ahire, among several others.
