Goa Khabar : Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today handed over a motorised wheelchair to Edwin, a palliative care patient in Margao, fulfilling a commitment he had made a few months ago.
The wheelchair was provided as part of Rane’s personal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at improving mobility and enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing serious health challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Rane said the initiative seeks to bring greater comfort, independence and dignity to those undergoing difficult health journeys.
He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that people who need care and support the most are never left behind, adding that every effort will continue to be focused on making life a little easier for them.
