GoaKhabar: Taking a significant step towards the digital transformation of Goa’s transport sector, the Goa Motor Cycle Taxi Rider’s Association, in coordination with Graceful Goa Superapp Pvt. Ltd. and the Directorate of Transport, will officially launch the Majhe Driver App on July 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji. The initiative aims to strengthen last-mile connectivity services while enabling motorcycle taxi riders to leverage technology for improved service delivery and business opportunities.
Designed to modernise and enhance motorcycle taxi operations, the Majhe Driver App will enable commuters to book motorcycle taxis conveniently from anywhere in Goa. The platform has been developed to improve accessibility, expand customer reach and provide riders with greater opportunities to secure trips beyond traditional taxi stands. The initiative is being introduced in collaboration with the Goa Motor Cycle Taxi Rider’s Association, which has long played an important role in providing reliable last-mile connectivity across the State.
Expanding opportunities through technology-driven services, the platform has been developed by Graceful Goa Superapp Pvt. Ltd., a startup recognised under the Goa Startup Policy. The initiative is intended to strengthen the reach of motorcycle taxi riders, improve access to customers and support their business activities through a digital booking platform. The collaboration also envisages future support for the transition from conventional motorcycles to electric two-wheelers, promoting more sustainable mobility solutions.
The programme will be attended by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant as Chief Guest, Minister for Transport Shri Mauvin Godinho as Guest of Honour, Secretary (Transport) Shri Mahesh Kumar Shambhu, IFS, Director of Transport Shri Arvind Khutkar, President of the Goa Motor Cycle Taxi Rider’s Association Shri Suresh Thakur, Director of Graceful Goa Superapp Pvt. Ltd. Ms. Rebekah Lobo, General Secretary of the Goa Motor Cycle Taxi Rider’s Association, and other officials and members of the motorcycle taxi community.
