Goa Khabar: Sankhali recorded the highest rainfall in Goa with 91.6 mm during the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 AM on July 5, 2026, according to the latest rainfall data.
Sankhali was followed by Valpoi, which received 85 mm of rainfall. Both locations fell under the heavy rainfall category (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm).
Several other parts of the state experienced moderate rainfall, including Pernem (64 mm), Mapusa (64 mm), Ponda (45.8 mm), Quepem (45 mm), Ela (Old Goa) (25.3 mm), Sanguem (23.5 mm), Panaji (22.2 mm), Margao (19.8 mm), Dharbandora (18.4 mm) and Canacona (17.2 mm).
Light rainfall was recorded at Dabolim (14 mm) and Mormugao (11.6 mm), while no locations in Goa reported very heavy or extremely heavy rainfall during the period.
