K. C. Venugopal says Congress not worried About formation of Goa Congress Party

Goa Khabar : AICC General Secretary K. C. Venugopal on Saturday dismissed concerns over the proposed formation of the Goa Congress Party, saying that anyone is free to form a political party and that the Congress is not worried about such developments.

Responding to questions from the media, Venugopal said, “Everyone has the right to form a party. I have also heard someone say that a Goa BJP Party is going to be launched—wait for a few days. Anyone who wants to form a party is free to do so; we are not worried about such developments.”

His remarks come amid ongoing political discussions in Goa following reports about the registration of a new political outfit, the Goa Congress Party, ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
