AAP Gives Govt Ultimatum Till Monday to Waive High Power Bills With Official Order
Goa Khabar:AAP Organisational Secretary Prashant Naik, South Goa Youth Wing President Neash Coutinho, along with residents of Margao and Navelim, staged a dissent outside the Margao Power House after government has failed to provide a fixed date for the complete waiver of high electricity bills.
AAP stated that merely revising bills or adjusting the excess amount in future bills is not enough. All bills received from January till 15 June must be nullified and Full refund needs to be issued since many families had to borrow money and take small loans to clear the heavy bills.
AAP warned that if the government fails to issue an official waiver by Monday, residents from all over Margao Taluka along with AAP leaders will do a Sit In protest until official order is handed over.
