Goa Khabar : In a heartening display of community spirit and medical dedication, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bicholim branch, in harmonious collaboration with Rotary Club of Dona Paula and graced by the support of Manipal Hospital, orchestrated a life-saving cervical cancer (HPV) vaccination program for young girls aged 9-14 years at the esteemed Matruchaya institution, Wadem Dhavli, Phonda . This noble initiative witnessed the administration of the second dose of HPV vaccine to 16 deserving girls, who had received their inaugural dose six months prior.

The vaccination drive was deftly led by the illustrious Dr. Shekhar Salkar, revered Oncosurgeon and President of IMA Bicholim branch, alongside Rtn Dr. Elaine Rodrigues, Coordinator, and Rtn Dr. Sajal Dhond.
