Goa Khabar : In a creative bid to tackle the rising tide of nicotine dependency, the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), in collaboration with the Goa Dental College and Hospital, has officially announced the 8th Goa Anti-Tobacco Film Festival.
Scheduled to take place on May 31, 2026, the festival coincides with World No Tobacco Day. This year’s theme, “Unmasking the appeal: Countering Nicotine & Tobacco Addiction,” challenges filmmakers to strip away the glamour of tobacco use and highlight its devastating links to oral cancer and heart disease.
