Goa Khabar : AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal today visited St Alex Church, Calangute, and sought blessings for the people of Goa. He was warmly welcomed by Parish Priest Father Mariano Silveira.

Accompanying Arvind Kejriwal were former Delhi CM and Goa In-Charge Atishi, AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik, Working President Gerson Gomes, Senior Vice President Sandesh Teleikar Dessai, Joint Secretary Manuel Cardozo, and local leaders Carol Fernandes, John Fernandes, Herton Fernandes, Sandeep Pednekar, along with party volunteers.

Speaking after the visit, Arvind Kejriwal said: “Today we visited St Alex Church to seek blessings for the people of Goa. Yesterday I was in Ponda, and people there are deeply frustrated with the state of healthcare. Patients from all corners of Goa are forced to rush to GMC. Even there, beds are not available without referrals. This is the reality of BJP’s governance.”

He added, “In Punjab, the AAP government has provided a ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme to every citizen. People of Goa deserve the same. I have appealed to the people of Ponda — elect an AAP MLA in the by-election and we will immediately transform the ID Hospital. Healthcare cannot wait.”

AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik said: “Goa’s healthcare system is in crisis because of BJP’s neglect. AAP has shown in Delhi and Punjab that quality healthcare is possible when intent is right. What Arvind Kejriwal ji is offering is hope and a clear roadmap for Goa.”

Working President Gerson Gomes said: “AAP’s visit to St Alex Church reflects our belief that politics must be guided by faith, service and compassion. People of Goa are suffering due to poor health facilities, and AAP is the only party speaking honestly and offering real solutions.”

AAP Joint Secretary Manuel Cardozo said: “People are tired of being forced to depend on referrals and influence for basic treatment. AAP’s commitment to transform hospitals and provide universal health insurance is resonating strongly with Goans.”

AAP reiterated its demand for a ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme for every Goan and assured that the party will continue to raise healthcare issues until the people of Goa receive the dignity and facilities they deserve.
