Goa Khabar : Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao questioned the government on Friday, asking why it failed to involve ED and IT in investigating the job scam in Goa.
LoP Yuri Alemao on Friday, during Calling Attention, raised issue of Job recruitment Scams and Widespread corrupt practices.
He said that there is anxiety in the minds of unemployed youth and job seekers in the State following repeated reports of large scale job recruitment irregularities cases, wherein it has been alleged that job aspirants are allegedly cheated of significant sums of money on assurances of employment in Government departments.
“Actually the system has failed. Lakhs of rupees is involved in this job scam. But Government has failed to investigate it properly. Government should tell whether Benami accounts were traced and in whose pockets money has gone,” Alemao said.
He also said that government should investigate to whom these jobs were promised and in which department.
