AAP Files 27 Zilla Panchayat Nominations in a Single Day; slams biased approach towards AAP candidates during nomination process

Goa Khabar:In a show of organisational strength and public support, the Aam Aadmi Party today filed 27 Zilla Panchayat nominations across Goa in a single day. From South Goa to North Goa, AAP candidates, accompanied by senior leaders, filed papers amidst overwhelming support from volunteers and voters. AAP candidates and leaders filed nominations for different seats at Panjim, Bicholim, Pernen, Mapusa, Margao, Sattari, Dharbandora & Quepem.
For the past 20 days, AAP has been the only political party consistently on the ground, conducting extensive door-to-door campaigns and public outreach. With the nomination process now in full swing, AAP’s presence has clearly positioned the contest as a direct battle between BJP and AAP.

Speaking after filing nominations for Raia, Benaulim, Colva, Navelim, and Guirdolim candidates at the South Goa Collectorate, Capt. Venzy said:
“In the last 20 days, only AAP has been on the ground. It is now very clear—this ZP election is BJP vs AAP in Goa.”
“The way BJP is misusing government machinery to stop us and showing bias against AAP candidates during nomination filing proves they are scared of us.”
“Our volunteers have already completed two full rounds of door-to-door campaigning and candidates have covered nearly 80% of households. I am personally visiting Navelim, Nuvem, and my own constituency, and the response is extremely positive.”

After filing nominations for Avinash Jadhav (Keri ZP) and Arjun Gurav (Nagargao ZP), Valmiki Naik said:
“Sattari has become a story of a Raja and Rani. AAP will end this Family Raj once and for all. Just like our ancestors ended Portuguese rule and British rule, we will end this political dynasty system.”
“Both our candidates have been continuously among the people, speaking to residents and taking their issues to heart. We appeal to the people of Sattari to support and vote for AAP.”
Adv. Amit Palekar – State President (From Mapusa) after attending the filing of five AAP nominations of Reis Magos, Calangute, Anjuna, Siolim, and Penha de França
Speaking to the media, Palekar said:
“We are proud to offer opportunities to new and young faces like Poojan—educated candidates who genuinely want to serve the people. No other party is doing this.”
“BJP is only interested in furthering family raj, not in uplifting youth or giving them responsibility. AAP stands for merit, integrity, and public service.”

Gerson Gomes praised the energy of AAP volunteers and said:
“AAP is the voice of ordinary Goans. The momentum on the ground shows that Goa is ready for change. Our candidates represent honesty, hope, and a new kind of politics.”
