Goa Khabar: As many young cadet boxers were out of practice/training due to their Mid Term Examinations till today, Goa Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) have decided postpone the 1st Goa Cadet (11-12 years) Boys and Girls Boxing Tournament- 2025 which was earlier scheduled to be held on 16th-17th October 2025. The same will now be held to 11th-12th November 2025 at Boxing Hall, Peddem, Mapusa, Bardez, Goa. This will also enable more young cadets to practice and participate in the tournament .
Weight Class for Boys: 27.01-30kgs//30.01-33kgs//33.01-36kgs//36.01-39kgs// 39.01-42kgs//42.01-45kgs//45.01-48kgs//48.01-51kgs//51.01-54kgs.
Weight Class for Girls: 25.01-27kgs// 27.01- 30kgs//30.01-33kgs//33.01-36kgs//36.01-39kgs//39.01-42kgs//42.01-45kgs//45.01-48kgs//48.01-51kgs.
In order to promote Boxing at Grassroot level of Boxing in Goa, Goa Amateur Boxing Association is organizing is organizing a two day Boxing Tournament-1st All Goa Cadets (11-12 years) Boys & Girls Boxing Tournament-2025 will now be held on 11th and 12th November 2025 at Boxing Hall Peddem, Mapusa Bardez Goa.
Entries must be submitted via email to goaboxing@gmail.com by 6th November 2025 by 5.30pm. Entries must include the following details: Name, Surname, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Weight Category, Passport Size Photo, Blood Group, Aadhaar Card Number, Mobile Number, Email ID, GABA Registration Number, Name of the Boxing Centre/Coaching Centre/RCC and the Coach. All entries must be countersigned by the coach in order to be accepted. Incomplete Entries will be rejected. The coach/authorized support staff/Parent/Guardian will have to be present along with the Boxer at the time of the Tournament.
On the day of the Tournament, boxers must carry both originals and photocopies of the following documents for verification: GABA Medical Record Book, Original Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal, Panchayat or Corporation) or Original School Leaving/Transfer Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Passport-size Photograph.
GABA urges all boxers/coaches to ensure the timely submission of entries and required documentation. This is a valuable opportunity for Goan boxers to get exposure and develop boxers at grass root level.
