Goa Khabar : On the eve of our 79th Independence Day, the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has committed an outrageous act of national dishonor by placing the Indian National Flag below GIDC flags at its premises. This is a direct violation of the Flag Code of India and a brazen insult to the pride and sovereignty of our nation.
The responsibility for this disgraceful act squarely lies with GIDC’s Managing Director, Pravimal Abhishek, IAS, whose gross negligence and dereliction of duty have brought shame upon the institution he heads. An officer entrusted with upholding the dignity of national symbols has instead presided over their humiliation.
The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee demands:
1. Immediate suspension of Shri Pravimal Abhishek, IAS.
2. Strict disciplinary action as per service rules.
3. A public apology from GIDC to the people of Goa and the nation.
