Goa Khabar : In a major relief to 346 rooftop solar consumers, the long-pending issue of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) disbursement under Phase 2 of the Rooftop Solar Scheme has been successfully resolved. The breakthrough came following the timely and effective intervention of Hon’ble Minister of State (MoS) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shripad Naik.

The CFA, which is disbursed to consumers through empanelled vendors, had been held up due to some discrepancies, causing concern among beneficiaries. Taking cognizance of the matter, Shripad Naik convened meetings with all stakeholders in Goa, followed by high-level discussions in New Delhi with officials from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Thanks to Sudin Dhavlikar, Hon’ble Minister for Power, Govt. of Goa for putting his valuable efforts for making it successful.

Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India Shripad Naik’s decisive action has paved the way for the release of CFA to the affected consumers, ensuring they receive the financial support promised under the scheme. This resolution not only benefits the current set of consumers but also sends a positive signal to future participants.

The intervention is expected to boost confidence among both consumers and vendors, thereby accelerating the adoption of rooftop solar under the PM Suryaghar Scheme and advancing the nation’s clean energy goals.
