Goa Khabar : Poriem MLA Deviya Rane inaugurated the reconstructed Panchayat Ghar in Poriem on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in enhancing local governance under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa Scheme.
The new facility boasts a dedicated space for administrative tasks, ensuring efficient execution and effective addressing of residents’ needs. The hall, with a capacity of 300 people, will facilitate community gatherings and events.
The reconstructed Panchayat Ghar empowers Panchayat members to tackle issues promptly, strengthening local governance. MLA Deviya Rane expressed gratitude to CM Dr. Pramod Sawant and Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho for their support and guidance in completing the project.
She said that this initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to prioritizing projects that benefit the people, ensuring timely completion and sanctioning of such initiatives.
