डीजे लाईटमध्ये लपविण्यात आलेले 12 किलो सोने डीआरआयकडून उघडकीस, दोन तस्करांना अटक
गोवा खबर:डीजे लाईटमध्ये लपवून चोरट्या मार्गाने नेण्यात येत असलेले 9.6 कोटी रुपये किमतीचे 12 किलो सोने मुंबईच्या महसूल गुप्तचर संचालनालयाने (डीआरआय ), मुंबईतील एअर कार्गो कॉम्प्लेक्समधून जप्त केले आहे. डीआरआयच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी गुप्तचरांकडून मिळालेल्या माहितीच्या आधारे कारवाई करत, मालाची तपासणी केली असता प्रत्येक डीजे लाईटमधून सुमारे 3 किलो सोने हस्तगत करण्यात आले.
त्यानंतरच्या तपासात एका गोदामाची झडती घेतली असता, त्याच पद्धतीचा वापर करून त्यासाठी केलेल्या खाचांमध्ये सोने लपवून तस्करीसाठी वापरण्यात येत असलेले, 68 डीजे लाईट्स आढळले. संबंधित टोळीने या पूर्वी देखील देशात मोठ्या प्रमाणात सोन्याची तस्करी केली असल्याचा संशय आहे. सोन्याच्या तस्करीत सहभागी असलेल्या दोन जणांना अटक करण्यात आली आहे. डीआरआय, मुंबईने गेल्या एका आठवड्यात तस्करी केलेले सुमारे 48 किलो सोने जप्त केले असून, सोने तस्करी करणाऱ्या टोळ्यांविरुद्धच्या कारवाईत उल्लेखनीय यश मिळवले असल्याचे यातून दिसून येते.
