Goa Khabar:Marathi Web Series ‘Lampan’ grabs the Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 55^th International Film Festival of India, for its remarkable storytelling, high production values, and exceptional performances.

Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari based on stories written by Prakash Narayan Sant, ‘Lampan’ is the tale of a dreamy child with unbounded curiosity.

The award, which celebrates innovation in digital content, was presented to the creators and the OTT platform behind Lampan for their dedication to delivering an engaging and thought-provoking narrative.

This year, five web series have been shortlisted for their artistic brilliance, storytelling finesse, technical excellence, and cultural impact.

The Best OTT Web Series Award comes with a cash prize of Rs. 10,00,000, which will be shared between the creators and the OTT platform, along with individual certificates recognizing their contribution to the series’ success.

This award accentuates IFFI’s commitment to nurture creativity and innovation in the entertainment sector. By incentivizing high-quality content creation in Indian languages and fostering collaboration among global creators and platforms, IFFI aims to position India as a hub for digital storytelling.
