Sub Junior Girls Boxers win West Zone Team Championship with 6 gold and 3 silver medals

Three teams Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat participated in the three-day event in Ahmedabad.

Goa Subjunior Girls team won 6 Gold ( Priya Indwar 37 kg, Laxmi Lamani 40 kg, Suman Patil 43 kg, Mamta Raut 46 kg, Shravni Rokde 49 kg and Siddhi Mandrekar)1 Silver medal ( Diksha Gaikwad)at the Championship claiming the team championship.

Mamta Raut 46 kg won Best Boxer Trophy at the Championship.

Goa Subjunior boys team won 1 Gold(Veer Rana), 2 Silver (Vignesh Kolar 37 kg, Mohamad Saddiq 52 kg)and 5 Bronze medal ( Abhijit Sharma 35 kg, Yasin Dambal 40 kg, Nethan Fernandes 43 kg, Jai Sharma 46 kg and Fardeen Sayed 49 kg)at the championship.

The boxers were coached by Chitamabaram Naik and Vishvanath Govekar
