IndiGo Cabin Crew Pens Heartfelt Note to Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Praises His Leadership

Goa Khabar: In a warm gesture, cabin crew members of an IndiGo flight from Goa to Hyderabad penned a handwritten note for Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, expressing appreciation for his public service, leadership and contribution towards the development of the State.

The letter, dated August 21, 2026, was addressed to Dr. Sawant while he was travelling on flight 6E 985 on the Goa-Hyderabad sector.

The crew described having the Chief Minister travel with them as a special moment and said they were grateful for the opportunity to convey their regards to him.

Crew Praises CM’s Public Service

In the note, the cabin crew praised Dr. Sawant’s journey in public service and his contribution towards Goa’s progress and development. They said his leadership reflected a commitment to public service, inclusive development and the aspirations of the people of Goa.

The crew also referred to Dr. Sawant as the 13th and current Chief Minister of Goa and appreciated the values of leadership, discipline, responsibility, dedication and service.

‘Swayampurna Goa’ Initiative Appreciated

The handwritten letter made special mention of the Swayampurna Goa initiative, highlighting its emphasis on self-reliance, empowering communities, strengthening local livelihoods and creating opportunities for people across the State.

The crew noted that the initiative focused on areas including women and youth empowerment, better access to government schemes and tourism, among others.

They said such efforts towards building a self-reliant, resilient and progressive Goa while contributing to the broader vision of Viksit Bharat deserved appreciation.

‘Serving People Is About Sincerity and Commitment’

Drawing a parallel between public service and their own responsibilities as cabin crew, the crew members said serving people ultimately means carrying out one’s responsibilities with sincerity and commitment.

They expressed their respect for the Chief Minister’s service to Goa and the nation and wished him continued success in his journey of public service and leadership.

The note concluded with wishes that his work would continue to inspire more people to contribute towards building a stronger and better India.

The handwritten message was signed on behalf of the crew by Haripriya, Shivani, Tanu and Dipabali, making the gesture a personal expression of appreciation during the Chief Minister’s journey from Goa to Hyderabad.
