Mahila Morcha of BJP exposed double engine BJP govt : Congress
Goa Khabar : Baffled and pained to see that the youth of the country have exposed the Prime Minister and the Home Minister over the paper leak issue, BJP’s Goa leaders were themselves left embarrassed on Wednesday when participants in their protest openly complained about skyrocketing inflation, said Amarnath Panjikar, Chairman of the Congress Media & Communication Department.
He said that after the Goa Congress staged a protest last night against the detention of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and other leaders in Delhi, BJP Goa President Damodar Naik attempted to divert attention by organizing a protest this morning targeting the Congress.
“BJP knows it stands completely exposed on the paper leak issue with 25 suicides of students. In the last decade, around 152 paper leaks have occurred across the country, devastating the future of lakhs of students. But the BJP remains silent, while Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is busy trying to protect himself. Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the rights of students, and that is making the BJP uncomfortable,” Panjikar said.
He pointed out that members of the BJP Mahila Morcha who participated in the protest ended up highlighting the government’s failures instead of attacking the Congress.
“When reporters asked them why they were protesting against the Congress, they replied that inflation had become unbearable. It appears Damodar Naik did not even explain the purpose of the protest to his own workers. Hopefully, next time he will brief them properly and save his party from being exposed by its own members,” Panjikar said.
He noted that one woman participating in the BJP’s protest specifically complained that LPG cylinder prices, electricity bills, and water charges have all increased sharply, exposing the hardships faced by ordinary families.
“BJP is known for suppressing the voice of the people. Today, however, its own workers have spoken against the government’s failures from the BJP’s own platform. This is the beginning of a new ‘Parivartan’ in Goa. The people are fed up with inflation, unemployment, paper leaks, and anti-people policies, and this growing sentiment will show the BJP the door in the forthcoming elections,” Panjikar added.
