Goa Khabar : Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar visited the Congress House after a long gap, stating that his visit was solely for official party work and to submit party-related documents.
Speaking to the media, Patkar clarified that there was no political agenda behind his visit and that he had come only to complete official party formalities.
Meanwhile, Goa Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakare dismissed speculation about any differences within the party, asserting that Amit Patkar remains an integral part of the Congress.
“Amit Patkar is our leader,” Thakare said, reiterating that there is no rift and that Patkar continues to be an important member of the party.
