Amit Patkar Says Fight Is Against BJP, Not Girish Chodankar; Reaffirms Commitment to Congress

Goa Khabar: Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar on Saturday reaffirmed his commitment to the Indian National Congress, stating that the party’s fight is against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and not against GPCC President Girish Chodankar.

Speaking to the media after meeting AICC General Secretary K. C. Venugopal, Patkar said he would continue working for the Congress and remain dedicated to strengthening the party.

However, when asked whether he would work alongside or under the leadership of Girish Chodankar, Patkar did not give a direct response, leaving the question unanswered.

His remarks came amid ongoing organisational discussions within the Goa Congress as the party prepares for the upcoming elections.
