Goa Khabar: As part of Goa Tourism’s ongoing efforts to enhance the State’s cultural tourism landscape, Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte visited the construction site of the upcoming Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum at Farmagudi, Ponda, to review the progress of the landmark heritage tourism project.
The Minister was accompanied by Shri Kedar Naik, Director Goa Tourism, and Shri Kuldeep Arolkar, Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC). The delegation conducted a comprehensive inspection of the ongoing works, reviewed the pace of construction, and assessed the project’s progress to ensure its timely completion.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with engineers, and senior project officials, appreciating their efforts while encouraging them to maintain the highest standards of quality and adhere to project timelines. He also held detailed discussions with project supervisors and officials on the remaining phases of the project to ensure its timely completion.
Speaking during the visit, Tourism Minister, Shri Rohan A. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum is being developed as a landmark digital museum that will celebrate the life, leadership, and enduring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through technology-driven storytelling and immersive visitor experiences. Once completed, the project is expected to emerge as a major cultural landmark, further strengthening Goa’s heritage tourism offerings and contributing to the State’s growing portfolio of cultural tourism attractions.”
