Education: The Strongest Foundation for a Better Future

This sentiment resonated strongly at the grand inauguration of Motion Education’s Goa Study Centre, held Thursday evening at The Capital, Above Max Fashion Store, Porvorim. Goa’s Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while the event was presided over by Motion Education’s Founder and celebrated educator, Nitin Viijay. The evening featured enriching discussions on career planning for students, strategies for competitive exam preparation, and the rapidly evolving landscape of modern education. Speakers unanimously emphasized that quality education, paired with the right guidance and a nurturing academic environment, is what truly transforms students’ confidence and drives them toward success.
Addressing the gathering, Motion Education’s Founder and CEO Nitin Viijay spoke about the phenomenon of Kota — a city that draws millions of aspiring doctors and engineers from every corner of India each year. He highlighted that what makes Kota unique is not just its competitive atmosphere, but also its experienced faculty, structured study systems, and a culture of discipline that keeps students focused on their goals. He stressed that cracking competitive exams like JEE and NEET is not solely about hard work — it requires the right strategy, consistent practice, and meaningful mentoring. “Our mission at Motion Education goes beyond helping students clear exams,” he said. “We want to build individuals who are genuinely confident, capable, and ready to take on the world.”
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant acknowledged a longstanding challenge faced by Goa’s students — that many bright and deserving young minds were unable to pursue coaching in Kota due to financial constraints or family responsibilities. With Motion Education now establishing a Study Centre in Goa itself, that barrier has been significantly lowered. Students will no longer need to leave their homes and families to access world-class coaching — they can now receive the same quality of guidance and preparation right here in their own state. The Chief Minister also noted that as education and technology continue to evolve at a remarkable pace, students need access to modern pedagogical methods, robust digital support, and experienced mentors who can guide them effectively. He commended institutions like Motion Education for bringing national-level preparation to students at the grassroots level.
Centre Director Mrs. Khairu Mavany provided an overview of what students can expect from the new center. She noted that Motion Education brings with it nearly two decades of expertise in coaching students for NEET, JEE, and a range of other science-based competitive examinations. The institute was founded in 2007 by IITian Nitin Viijay — affectionately known among students as NV Sir — and has since grown to operate more than 90 study centers across India. At the Goa center, in partnership with Excellence Education Academy, students from Class 8 onwards will have access to a comprehensive suite of offerings including structured classroom programs, a highly experienced faculty team, rigorous test series, in-depth performance analysis, dedicated doubt-clearing support, personalized mentoring, and a technology-driven learning environment. The goal is to ensure that every student in Goa has access to a well-organized and competitive preparation environment — right in their own city.
