The phone was found by a photographer on the beach, who handed the device into the custody of lifesavers at the local beach tower. The phone was handed over to the owner after completion of proper identification formalities in the presence of Goa Police personnel, after the latter appeared at the lifesaver tower looking for his lost phone.

Galgibag beach: A 22-year-old woman from Mumbai sustained a cut injury to a toe on her right foot after stepping on seashell-covered stones near the river side at Galgibag beach. Drishti Marine lifesavers promptly administered first aid at the scene, following which she was safely handed over into the care of her friends.
