Goa Khabar:The Goa Forward Party (GFP) has strongly demanded an impartial, thorough, and transparent investigation into the tragic death of Home Guard Dinesh Gaude, a member of the Scheduled Tribe community.
In a press statement issued today, Mr. Prashant Naik, Chief Spokesperson of the Goa Forward Party, urged the Home Department to immediately scrutinize the claims made by the Forest Department and the Forensic Science Laboratory regarding the circumstances of Dinesh Gaude’s death.
“The incident has caused deep concern among the people, particularly within the tribal community. The government must handle this matter with utmost sensitivity, fairness, and accountability. Any attempt to suppress facts or delay the investigation will only deepen public suspicion and erode the faith of marginalized communities in the system,” said Prashant Naik.
The Goa Forward Party has also called upon the South Goa Police to investigate the case on a war footing and ensure swift delivery of justice to the deceased, who hailed from a very poor and underprivileged background. Mr. Naik emphasized that members of Scheduled Tribe communities often face difficulties in securing timely and equal justice, making it the collective responsibility of the authorities to act promptly and without bias in this matter.
GFP further demanded that the government keep the bereaved family informed at every stage of the investigation and ensure that no external pressure or influence is allowed to interfere with the process of uncovering the truth.
“Transparency, accountability, and a fair investigation are non-negotiable to maintain public trust and to ensure that no injustice is done in this tragic case,” the party stated.
Goa Forward Party remains committed to safeguarding the rights and dignity of all Goans, especially those from tribal and underprivileged sections of society.
