This would be last Budget of BJP: LoP Yuri Alemao
Goa Khabar: Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao on Friday said that today’s, budget would be the last of BJP Government. People of Goa will never give them power again for ruining our state and will show them door for their arrogance, anti-people projects and atrocities on democracy.
He said that this Government has miserably failed to control borrowings and repay debt. It gives hollow promises and spends taxpayers money on events for commission.
“Instead of diverting issues, it should focus on tackling Corruption at ministerial and administrative level, Conversions of lands with 39 A, shifting Casinos, and Control on public borrowing and reducing public debt,” Alemao said.
He said that Congress, after coming to power, will focus on Employment in industry and service sector, Education for Skills and Employability, Ease of business and Ease of Citizen and Environment protection and preservation.
“Minister in BJP cabinet gives open threat to paralyse capital city by bringing 40 thousand people from Sattari. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant remains mum on such threats, however he files FIR’s on common people while they protest for their rights,” Alemao pointed out.
“This makes it evident how the state cabinet is functioning and how law and order has collapsed in the state,” Alemao said.
