Goan Team Boom Boom Goa 13 qualifies for Red Bull Four 2 score national finals 

Goa Khabar : Goan team Boom Boom Goa 13 has secured the prestigious qualification for the Red Bull Four 2 Score 2026 National Finals after emerging champions of the North Goa qualifying round, reaffirming their position among the country’s leading grassroots football teams. 

The former India champions will now join nine other qualifying teams from across the country to compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent India at the event’s global finals in Toronto, Canada on 29 August 2026.

The qualification marks a significant milestone for Boom Boom Goa 13, who previously represented India at the world stage and continue to demonstrate their dominance in the fast-paced small-sided football format. From South Goa, Delta Strikers emerged as the regional champions in the qualifying rounds.

The national qualifiers, held across multiple cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Pune, Coimbatore and Bhubaneswar, brought together grassroots teams from across India. Among the other teams to qualify for the national finals are Hope United from Mumbai, Emrais FC from Bengaluru, Goal Hunterz FC from Jaipur, MRFC (A) from Coimbatore, Royal FC from Kolkata, SFC from Pune, Kalina Rangers from Kochi and Young Boys from Bhubaneswar. Each of these teams secured top honours in their respective city qualifiers to earn a place in the final round.

Red Bull Four 2 Score is designed to nurture community-driven football by offering a competitive platform outside the professional structure. Played in a high-intensity four-versus-four format without goalkeepers, matches last 10 minutes, with goals scored in the opening and closing 60 seconds counting double. Teams compete in a group-plus-knockout format at the national finals, with tied matches decided through a sudden-death golden goal round, where one player from each side competes until a decisive goal is scored.

The national finals will feature the ten city champions divided into two groups, with the top teams advancing to the knockout rounds and ultimately the final. The winning team will be crowned Red Bull Four 2 Score India champions and will go on to represent the country at the global finals in Toronto, scheduled to take place after the FIFA World Cup 2026.
