Goa Govt. to host live webinar on EDC loan schemes under Swayampurna Goa Mission on June 28

Goa Khabar : The Government of Goa, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. CM, Dr. Pramod Sawant, had launched the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa (ABSG) mission on 02nd October 2020 amidst the COVID pandemic.

It is a Government led community level action plan to make each and every Goan self-reliant (i.e. Swayampurna). After the resounding success of the ABSG 1.0, the Government launched the ABSG 2.0 Mission in April 2022.

Various activities have been undertaken as a part of the Mission and a Swayampurna Mitra is appointed for every village panchayat / municipality to co-ordinate the work undertaken. Under the ABSG mission 2.0, a Special drive has been initiated by EDC Ltd from 15th April 2025 onwards – under which our officers have been visiting all the Panchayats and Municipalities of Goa to explain our Loan Schemes and Services to the Goans.

Till now we have almost covered around 50% of the Village Panchayats and Municipalities (i.e. around 83 Village Panchayats and 6 Municipalities of Goa) – and we have planned to cover the remaining Panchayats and Municipalities shortly.

.Saturday, 28th June 2025 at 10.30 AM, the Government of Goa has organized a live interactive program/ webinar to explain and promote schemes/services of EDC Ltd., under Swayampurna Goa.

Every Goan can participate in this live program either by visiting their local panchayat or by visiting the YouTube channel of the Hon. CM Dr. Pramod Sawant.

The Hon. CM would like to urge you to get in touch with your Swayampurna Mitra to know more about the live interaction program and participate in this program in large numbers and understand the loan schemes of EDC Limited.
