GMC Football League 2025 ends on a high

Goa Khabar : The Goa Medical College & Hospitals organised their 5th season of inter departmental Football league Tournament 2025 and Tiebreaker for Women on 11 th May at GMC Athletic stadium, Bambolim Goa.

This tournament was founded in 2019 by the Dean Prof Dr. Shivanand Bandekar.  The WINNERS of the Mens championship was Dean’s office Team -League Legends and Boom Boom Neuro being runners up.

There was also a separate women’s tiebreaker event wherein Cardio Strikers were the winners.

The eveng was graced by Chief Guest  Bruno Coutinho Arjuna awardee and Director of coaching SAG Goa, Eki Shukla Accountant General Goa, Akhil Kumar Dy. Accountant General Goa, Amit Kumar Mishra IAS Secretary Health, Sadhana Bandekar Ex. Chief Engineer PWD Goa, Pranav Bhat Jt. Secretary Finance and Health.

It was a Healthy atmosphere of sporting wherein a friendly match was played between GMC and Secretariat. Wherein Secretariat emerged as winners.
