Miracles SC beat Laxmi Prasad SC

Goa Khabar : Miracles Sports Club clinched a thrilling 3-2 victory over Laxmi Prasad SC in the GFA Third Division League at Duler Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Nathan Pereira was the star for Miracles, netting a brace, while Shawn Vessaokar added a crucial goal to secure the win. Laxmi Prasad’s Malikrehan S also shone with a double, but it wasn’t enough to save his side.

Miracles drew first blood early in the first half, with Pereira slotting home in the 9th minute. Laxmi Prasad responded with renewed energy, dominating the midfield and finding their equalizer through Malikrehan in the 24th minute. They continued their momentum, with Malikrehan bagging his second just before the break to put his team ahead.

The second half saw Miracles return with intent. Pereira found the net again in the 77th minute to level the scoreline, and just moments later, Vessaokar stepped up to seal the deal with a well-taken goal, securing a hard-fought 3-2 win for his side.

In another clash at the same venue, FC Sanquelim cruised to a 4-2 victory over Kelbai SC later in the evening. Aryan Sawant led the charge for Sanquelim with a brace, while Tejas Kukalkar and Yatin G added one apiece. Kelbai SC’s efforts saw them score through Dhiraj Naik and Vijay G, but they couldn’t overturn Sanquelim’s dominance.
