Goa Khabar:Mandrem Police Station have arrested one accused person in a narcotics raid.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi one Mr. Shahid S/o Alishan age: 45yrs N/o Sabitnagar, District-Ghaziabad U.P was apprehended for being in illegal possession of Narcotics substances called Ganja.
The raid was conducted early morning of 31.05.2024 at Madhalawada, Arambol Pernem, Mandrem Police Station staff successfully recovered 600gm of Ganja from the possession of the accused namely and registered a case against him U/s 20 (b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act 1985 and place him under arrest.
The raiding team was headed by PI Sherif Jaques along with PSI Jugal Divkar, PSI Paresh Kale, PSI Pravin Shimepuruskar, PC Vijay Gaikwad, PC Mallesh Joodi, PC Rajesh Shirgaonkar and PC Sarvesh Mandrekar of Mandrem Police Station.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SP North Akshat Kaushal, IPS and SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi.
