RGP MLA Viresh Borkar and Siolim RGP Block Submit Strong Objection to Zone Changes in Oxel, Bardez

Goa Khabar:RGP MLA Shri Viresh Borkar, along with members of the Siolim RGP Block, submitted a strong objection letter to the Village Panchayat of Oxel, Bardez, opposing the final notification of zone changes under Section 39A of the Goa Town and Country Planning Act, 1974, concerning Survey No. 31/1-E, as well as the proposed zone changes concerning Survey Nos. 81/4 and 78/3 at Village Oxel, Bardez, Goa.

Through this submission, the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has formally placed its objections on record, raising concerns over the proposed and notified changes in land-use zoning and their implications for the local community. The party has urged the concerned authorities to give due consideration to the objections raised and ensure that all decisions concerning land use are examined with transparency, accountability, and in the larger interest of the people of Goa.

RGP MLA Viresh Borkar and the Siolim RGP Block reiterated the importance of protecting Goa’s land, safeguarding the interests of local residents, and ensuring that planning decisions are taken responsibly, with due regard for the concerns of the people directly affected.

RGP maintains that matters concerning land use and zoning require careful scrutiny, meaningful consideration of public objections, and a transparent decision-making process. The party stands committed to raising the concerns of Goans and holding the relevant authorities accountable on issues affecting their land, livelihoods, and future.
