Goa Khabar: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has announced the termination of Viresh Borkar from the party’s primary membership with immediate effect, stating that the decision was taken after following due process under the Party Constitution and disciplinary proceedings initiated against him.
In an official statement issued by RGP General Secretary Vishvesh Naik, the party said that Borkar shall immediately cease to be a member of the Revolutionary Goans Party.
The party has further directed Borkar not to represent himself as a member, office bearer, spokesperson, authorised representative, or functionary of the RGP in any capacity.
According to the statement, Borkar has also been instructed to immediately stop issuing any communication, directions, press releases, statements, letters, or correspondence in the name of, or on behalf of, the Revolutionary Goans Party. The RGP clarified that any such communication issued by him after the termination would be considered unauthorised, unofficial, null and void, and would not be binding on the party.
The RGP has appealed to the public, media organisations, government authorities, and all concerned to take note of the decision and disregard any representation or communication made by Viresh Borkar on behalf of the party from the date of his termination.
In a continuation of its earlier press release, the party stated that the termination notice has been sent to Viresh Borkar through the official email ID of the Revolutionary Goans Party and has also been uploaded on the party’s official social media platforms.
