AICC Suspends Goa Minority Department Chairman; Dissolves State Committee

Goa Khabar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has taken disciplinary action against the Chairman of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Minority Department, Mr. Wasim Khan, for acts of indiscipline and anti-party activities.

As per an official order issued by AICC Minority Department Chairman and Member of Parliament Shri Imran Pratapgarhi, Mr. Wasim Khan has been suspended from the post of Chairman of the Goa PCC Minority Department with immediate effect.

The AICC has also dissolved the entire Goa PCC Minority Department Committee with immediate effect until further orders.

To ensure the smooth functioning and reorganisation of the Minority Department in Goa, Shri Nazir A. Khan has been appointed as the Convenor of the Goa PCC Minority Department with immediate effect.

The decision reflects the Congress Party’s commitment to maintaining organisational discipline and strengthening the party structure in Goa. The newly appointed Convenor will oversee the functioning of the Minority Department and facilitate the process of reconstituting the committee in accordance with the directives of the AICC.
