AAP candidate Geetesh’s nomination accepted, Baseless objections overruled by RO

Goa Khabar : The Residing officer has accepted the nomination of Geetesh Naik, overruling the objection raised by Congress against AAP candidate Geetesh Naik’s candidature in the Ponda by-poll.

Valmiki Naik along with state leader Sandesh Teleikar Dessai and Adv Surel Tilve slammed Congress and Carlos Ferreira, calling him out for acting like a judge when he should remain within the limits of his role as an advocate.

They stated that a Bhandari leader from a humble and poor family tried to rise and had aspirations of serving his community, but the Congress and it’s lobby has continuously attempted to put him down and this was also an another act of defamation. However, justice can never be denied.

AAP has demanded an apology from Carlos, failing which the party has threatened to file a defamation case.
