Goa Khabar : The ongoing Cash-for-Job scam within the Goa government took a major turn today as Pooja Naik, one of the suspected accused, publicly exposed the names of the minister and senior officials allegedly involved in the corruption racket.
In the presence of AAP Goa President Adv. Amit Palekar, Pooja Naik revealed that Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, IAS officer Nikhil Desai, and PWD Chief Engineer Uttam Parsekar were directly involved in the job-selling scam. With this disclosure, the long-standing speculation over the identities of the key players in the scam has ended.
Addressing the media, Pooja Naik said she was trapped in this scam during her time working at the MGP office. She stated that more than 80 job-seekers had paid money in cash, with transactions happening inside a flat. She added that the last such transaction took place in 2022.
The shocking revelation confirms how deeply the scam was rooted in the Goa government machinery and how vulnerable the youth were made in the hands of corrupt politicians and officials.
Speaking at the press interaction, AAP President Adv. Amit Palekar strongly condemned the BJP government and said:
“People paid money for government jobs because the public knew this BJP government doesn’t give jobs on merit. The youth of Goa were forced to pay lakhs by selling land, pawning jewelry, taking loans — believing it was their last chance to secure a future. This government has insulted the emotions of our youth and their families. Today they are left with no job and no money.”
Palekar added: “Hard-earned money of people was looted. Goans will teach this government a lesson in the coming elections.”
He demanded the immediate resignation of Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar and called for an independent judicial probe into the entire scam.
“Min. Dhavalikar must resign immediately. Only an independent judicial inquiry can bring the truth out,” Palekar said.
AAP has appealed to all Goans to unite against the BJP Government, which has not only failed the youth but has also systematically looted families in the name of government jobs.
