Goa Khabar : AAP MLA Cruz Silva has written to the Chief Minister of Goa requesting an urgent meeting along with the family of the Rivona electrocution victims. In his letter, Silva demanded immediate release of full compensation and called for strict safety reforms to prevent such tragedies in the future.

The Velim MLA urged the government to release full financial compensation immediately to the bereaved family. He stressed that the process must be fast-tracked so that the family does not face delays while coping with their loss.

Silva also highlighted the urgent need for stronger safety measures and preventive reforms to avoid such fatal accidents in the future. “The government must prioritise the safety of its citizens and implement all necessary reforms,” he said.

He further demanded strict accountability for negligence and urged the authorities to take swift and compassionate action.

To take this matter forward, Silva has requested a meeting with the Chief Minister along with the victim’s family at the earliest possible time. “This is not just about compensation but about justice and safety for the people,” he stated in his appeal.

Silva expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended condolences to the grieving Gaonkar family. He said that he visited the family personally to assure them of AAP’s full support during this difficult time.
