AAP Goa In-charge Atishi joins AAP leaders Amit Palekar and Rajesh Kalgantukar in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations
Goa Khabar : Former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and AAP Goa In-charge joined AAP Goa President Adv. Amit Palekar and AAP leader Rajesh Kalgantukar at their residence St. Cruz and Mayem respectively to celebrate the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Atishi was welcomed with warmth by AAP leaders and their families as they celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together. Atishi said, “The best thing about Goa’s Ganesh Chaturthi is how families, even those who live in different states, come together during the festival. From decorating to cooking to performing the pooja, everything is done as one. It shows the strength of community and the bond that holds society together, and it was beautiful to witness”.

Sharing her experience, Atishi said, “This is the first time I have taken part in the Ghoomat Aarti, and it is such a unique feature of the Goan way of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. I truly enjoyed it. Goa is known for its closeness to nature, and I could witness that during the festival. The canopy of Ganesh ji was beautifully decorated with wild flowers and fruits, a tradition I have not seen anywhere else”.
