Goa Khabar : The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) Disciplinary Committee has issued a formal notice to suspended party member Vishvesh Naik, directing him to appear before the committee in connection with allegations that led to his suspension pending disciplinary proceedings.
The notice, dated 28 July 2026, has been issued by Pravin Halarnkar, Chairperson of the RGP Disciplinary Committee. According to the communication, the committee has scheduled a hearing to provide Naik with an opportunity to present his explanation and respond to the allegations against him.
As per the notice, Vishvesh Naik has been directed to appear personally or through a duly authorised pleader or representative on 29 July 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be held at H.No. 764/2, Malwara, Agassaim, Tiswadi, Goa.
The notice further states that Naik will be permitted to submit any documents or other material that he wishes the committee to consider in his defence before an appropriate decision is taken.
The Disciplinary Committee has also cautioned that if Naik fails to appear without sufficient cause, it will be at liberty to proceed with the matter and take a decision based on the material available before it.
The communication describes the matter as urgent and requests the recipient to ensure his attendance at the scheduled hearing.
The development marks the next step in the party’s internal disciplinary process following the suspension of Vishvesh Naik, with the committee expected to hear his response before arriving at its decision.
