Goa Khabar : Residents of Kosti village staged a one-day peaceful protest against the ongoing Jennifer Livestock piggery farm, alleging that foul odour and nuisance from the facility have been affecting their daily lives. As part of the protest, villagers offered Gharane at the village temple, seeking divine intervention in their campaign against the piggery farm.
Deputy Collector and Sanguem Mamlatdar visited the site along with the Sarpanch, panch members and locals to hear the grievances. Villagers urged authorities to take immediate action and provide relief. BJP youth leader Sanket Arsekar also extended support to the villagers’ concerns.
