Sanguem Records Highest Rainfall in Goa with 98 mm

Goa Khabar: Sanguem recorded the highest rainfall in Goa with 98 mm during the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 AM on July 1, 2026, according to the latest rainfall data.

Other areas that received heavy rainfall included Dharbandora (96.2 mm), Margao (89.4 mm), Quepem (85 mm) and Valpoi (82 mm).

Several locations experienced moderate rainfall, including Sanquelim (61 mm), Ponda (60 mm), Panaji (55.2 mm), Ela (Old Goa) (54.4 mm), Canacona (54.4 mm), Pernem (52 mm), Dabolim (50.4 mm), Mapusa (42.2 mm) and Mormugao (35.2 mm).

No stations reported very heavy rainfall (115.6–204.4 mm) or extremely heavy rainfall (204.5 mm and above) during the reporting period.
