Goa Khabar : The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, under the leadership of its President Archit Naik, organised a massive protest in Margao against the NEET paper leak scandal and the growing unemployment crisis affecting the youth of the country.

The protest witnessed the participation of Indian Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib, AICC Goa In-Charge Manikrao Thakare, CWC Permanent Invitee Girish Chodankar, GPCC President Amit Patkar, South Goa Member of Parliament Captain Viriato Fernandes, MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira, all four District Congress Presidents, Youth Congress office bearers, and hundreds of Congress workers and youth from across Goa.

The protest march commenced in Margao and culminated outside the BJP South Goa office, where Youth Congress workers burnt an effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as a mark of protest against the NEET paper leak and the Centre’s failure to address the concerns of students and unemployed youth.

Addressing the gathering, Indian Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chib launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Central Government, accusing it of destroying the future of India’s youth through incompetence, corruption and broken promises. He stated that the NEET paper leak had shattered the dreams of lakhs of hardworking students and exposed the complete failure of the Union Education Ministry to conduct fair and transparent examinations.

Uday Bhanu Chib further criticised the Modi Government for its inability to generate employment opportunities for young Indians despite repeated assurances. He said that while the youth are demanding jobs, transparency and accountability, the government continues to evade responsibility and suppress legitimate concerns.

The leaders present at the protest unanimously demanded the immediate sacking of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the NEET paper leak scandal, strict punishment for all those involved, and urgent measures to tackle the growing unemployment crisis in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Goa Pradesh Youth Congress President Archit Naik said that the youth of Goa will continue to raise their voice against injustice and anti-youth policies. He asserted that the future of students cannot be compromised and that the Youth Congress will continue to fight for transparency in examinations and meaningful employment opportunities for the country’s youth.

The Goa Pradesh Youth Congress reiterated its commitment to standing with students, job seekers and young people across the nation and warned that if the government fails to take corrective action, the agitation will be intensified in the coming days.
