Goa Khabar : Fr Constancio Carvalho, Chaplain of Our Lady of Piety Chapel, is currently stable after suffering a heart attack and undergoing emergency angioplasty at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).
According to GMC officials, Fr Carvalho was initially rushed to the Bicholim Primary Health Centre before being shifted to GMC for further treatment. Doctors later carried out an emergency angioplasty on Sunday.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane is personally monitoring the treatment and health condition of Fr Carvalho, officials said.
